Kitchen close-ups – we will be taking photographs of kitchen utensils such as forks, glass bottles, edge of a plate, sieve or bubbles in the bottle. Focus on the textures, light and patterns.

Water droplets, learn how to photograph water droplets indoors on still-life subjects.

Low Light Photography, photograph the landscape and buildings in low light. Starting point will be Eastrop Park car park (see address below). We will walk into the main town centre to finish off the photoshoot. I will try to book a restaurant for the Club Meal.

Location: Eastrop Park, Eastrop Ln, Basingstoke RG21 4QB (address is for the car park which currently, is free to use). Meet in the car park for 7.00pm.

Negative space - take photographs of your subject in its negative space, i.e. A tree on its own with no other object or subject around it. Or a person standing in front of a white wall with no other object around.
What is negative space in photography - it is the 'empty' space around the subject that helps to add drama and a better composition to your final image.
Equipment: Camera and tripod and appropriate footwear and clothing.
Location: Tadley, Allen Ambrose Centre, Meet in the car park for 7.00pm.

Reflections the landscapes.

Street photography. We will be looking at different photographic techniques, i.e. panning, intentional camera movement, use of depth of field, negative space, use of various shutter speeds.

Photoshop editing – learn the basic editing processing using either Photoshop, Lightroom or any other editing app, (by Peter and Alan C).
Equipment: A couple of images per member that you would like Peter and Alan C to show the editing steps.

St Mary's Church and The Roman Wall – Taking photographs of the Church and the wall, use different photography techniques, i.e. panning, abstract, negative space.

Abstracts in oil - take photographs of oil in water, use light to enhance the patterns in the oil.
