MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY USING LIGHT PAINTING TECHNIQUES - learn how to take macro images using light painting techniques
Equipment: Camera, Tripod, small torch, battery operated candles, battery operated light, small objects to use during the shoot.

PROJECT TO COMPLETE BY 13th MAY - SPRING, take photos of season Spring, use natural light, close - up, landscape photography or capture the season in a short photo story (8 to 10 photographs capturing Spring.

WORKSHOP:
LIGHT & SHADOW PHOTOGRAPHY – Take photographs using artificial light to create shadows
Equipment: Camera, Tripod, small torch, battery operated candles, battery operated light, small objects to use during the shoot.
PROJECT TO COMPLETE BY 13th MAY - COBWES - Take photographs showing the patterns of the cobwebs, this could be close-ups, use shallow depth of field, focus on the dew drops, frost, spiders with their webs etc. Use light to create your images.

Tuesday 13th ZOOM MEETING, SLIDESHOW OF SPRING AND COBWEBS (in total 10 images)
PROJECT TO COMPLETE BY 10th JUNE - 'FOUND/LOST THINGS' Photograph, objects that you have found, use natural or artificial light, use depth of field, composition and framing, split colouring (colour and black and white in one image)

WORKSHOP:
WATER DROPLET PHOTOGRAPHY: Take photos of water droplets on the flowers, CD’s, Feathers; and create a reflection in the water droplet, use mobile phone, laptop to create an image in the water droplet. Bring flowers, feathers, CD’s, clingfilm and laptop to project an image into the water droplet. (I will send out some photos that I have taken on this subject and the set-up before the meeting)

Tuesday 10th ZOOM MEETING, SLIDESHOW OF FOUND/LOST THINGS and WATER DROPLET (in total 10 images)
PROJECT TO COMPLETE BY 8th JULY: ROAD SIGNS – Take photographs of road signs, use create techniques to create the images; use light, close-ups, shallow depth of field, framing to take interesting images of road signs.

WORKSHOP:
INK DROPS IN GLASS: Take photos of ink drops in glass, please bring clear glass, syringe, inks, torch, white backdrop. (I will send out some photos that I have taken on this subject and the set-up before the meeting)
PROJECT TO COMPLETE BY 9th SEPTEMBER: Photograph 10items/objects beginning with the letter L (letter box, letters, light, lemons, Lego etc..)

PROJECT TO COMPLETE BY 9th SEPTEMBER – COFFEE & CAKE – Take the opportunity to photography a cup of coffee and cake; use shallow depth of field, light, framing etc. to photograph this subject.
